General Terms and Conditions
DEFINITIONS
These Terms & Conditions for delegates apply to every person (including Authors, Attendees and Nominees) who is going to participate in any Conference/Ceremony/Event (hereafter referred to as “the Program”) organized by DHS Foundation at any physical venue or digitally.
All references to a date or a deadline, mentioned in this website and on any other documents related to Program, refer to the Indian Standard Time (IST) or Time Zone in India (GMT +5:30).
PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Only fully completed registration will be accepted. An invoice may be sent after the receipt of your registration, a confirmation of payment will be sent upon receipt of payment in full. If the full payment has not been received before the deadline indicated, the registration will remain valid, however the due fee will be increased according to the payment period (early/regular/on site).
To register yourself into any special category(if any) to receive the benefits of that special category(like student, postgraduate trainee, individuals, etc.) of Registration, registrant must present relevant proof (i.e. student ID, confirmation of head of department, etc.) either by email/fax at the time of pre-registration or during the on site registration process.
The receivables against registration fees, facilities, entry to the various sessions, etc. may vary program to program and will be stated/declared at the related information/resources on the website and any other related document.
Family members will not be allowed come along. Exceptionally, if it could be possible in any particular Program or case then it would be declared with all information of that Program.
In case of children/minor participant, parents/guardians of children will take full responsibility for them while at the Program site.
If the maximum delegate capacity is reached, the program organisers reserve the rights to refuse additional registrations/participations.
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION/RECEIPT
A registration confirmation/receipt will be sent by email after the online registration, a related payment and any necessary documents have been received by the registration department. Delegates may be requested to present this registration confirmation/receipt at the registration counter as proof of their registration and payment.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payments should be made in advance and in INR or USD, using payment gateway or by bank transfer.
All bank fees and money transfer costs must be paid by the transmitter. Any negative balance will be collected on site. Indicate the registration number and the delegate’s full name as a reference on all bank transfers.
LIABILITY
By registering to the Program organized by DHS Foundation; participants agree that neither the organising committee nor its associates assume any liability whatsoever. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance. The Registration fee does not include any insurance.
CANCELLATION OF THE PROGRAM
In the event that the program cannot be held or is postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the organisers, the organisers/DHS Foundation cannot be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses, etc.
Under these circumstances, the DHS Foundation reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to credit it for a future conference, or to reimburse the delegate after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the program and which could not be recovered from third parties.
MODIFICATION OF THE PROGRAMME
The conference organisers reserve the right to modify the programme/schedule. No refunds can be granted in case of cancellation of speakers, lack of space in the conference/event hall or any other incidents during the program which are beyond the control of the conference organisers.
LETTER OF INVITATION
Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation from the program organisers can request one through the email or by contacting the Registration Department of the Program. To receive a Letter of Invitation, delegates must first register to the particular program and submit any necessary data, as stated on the online/offline form.
The Letter of Invitation does not financially obligate the program organisers in any way.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms (including non-contractual disputes) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi (India). All dealings, correspondence and contacts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.
DHS Foundation also reserves the rights to change or update above stated Terms & Conditions anytime with or without prior information.
